This project involved the comprehensive refurbishment of Hotel Hovima La Pinta, encompassing both guest rooms and public areas. The primary objective was to reposition the property as a leading family hotel in the south of the island, developing an interior design concept centred around “children and the marine world.”
The challenge was to create themed environments that evoked the sea while offering comfort, functionality and enjoyment for families. To achieve this, we worked closely with the marketing and communication teams, developing a strategic interior design approach that infused every corner of the hotel with a strong and cohesive brand identity.
Taking full advantage of the beachfront location, we translated the surrounding landscape into the interiors through a palette of sand tones and ocean blues. The seabed became the central narrative thread of the design, present in both guest rooms and communal spaces. The spatial layout was redesigned to open the interiors towards the sea, creating brighter, more fluid and comfortable spaces that respond to the expectations of a family-oriented clientele.
The result was a resounding success. Each space invites exploration, with children at the heart of the experience. The hotel has become the perfect setting for family holidays, fully delivering on the client’s vision.
