This September, we travelled to Valencia to attend Feria Hábitat València 2025 — one of the leading international meeting points for interior design and the contemporary habitat sector. At L’ATELIER Interiorismo, we believe that inspiration is born through direct contact with design — through observation, dialogue and the exchange of ideas — and this event offered the perfect opportunity for exactly that.
For three days, from 29 September to 2 October, the city became the epicentre of contemporary design. Beyond numbers or trend forecasts, what truly defines Hábitat is the energy of those who live and breathe design with passion: materials that surprise, new textures to explore, conversations that spark ideas and the shared excitement of a collective creative vision.
Rediscovering Design Through Experience
Walking through Hábitat is an experience that goes far beyond product displays. It is about pausing to observe how light transforms a surface, how a fabric can alter the perception of space, or how craftsmanship seamlessly merges with technology. This year’s edition once again reminded us that design is not only seen — it is touched, heard and felt.
Encounters that Inspire
Above all, Hábitat is a meeting point. We had the opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences with collaborators, friends and partners such as Jover, Aromas del Campo, Belta Frajumar, Vical Design and Andreu World. Each conversation and every visit became a moment of learning and inspiration. It is often within these exchanges that the seeds of future projects are planted — projects that will soon take shape in our studio.
Trends Shaping the Future
Among the most inspiring proposals were those placing emphasis on sustainability and material sensitivity. Conscious sustainability, recycled materials and certified woods stood out, alongside sensory innovation — functional surfaces, intelligent lighting systems and textures designed to enhance wellbeing.
We felt particularly aligned with the continued rise of contract and hospitality design — a direction that prioritises both aesthetics and comfort within shared spaces, fully in line with the philosophy of L’ATELIER Interiorismo.
What We Brought Back to Tenerife
We returned with renewed inspiration and a suitcase full of ideas: new finishes, noble materials, textures with soul and a clearer vision of the balance between design, functionality and emotion. Feria Hábitat València 2025 reaffirmed our way of understanding interior design — creating spaces that speak, that listen and that generate wellbeing.
